The French Ligue1 was brought to am abrupt end amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, with no winner crowned. Arsenal's William Saliba was sent on loan to Saint-Etienne as part of his buying contract last summer and his now finished the loan deal with the termination of the French Ligue.
Opta has revealed some statistics that shows just how good William Saliba has been during his time with the French team.
According to Opta (via Squawka), Saliba is the only outfield player in Europe this season - playing over 900 minutes - who has not committed a single foul from his attempted challenges this season.
On average, Saliba completes 1.5-2 tackles per game, on average, and has an overall 'true' tackle success rate of 80% - with only Everton's Yerry Mina ahead of the Frenchman.
Arsenal will hope he can translate his fine form in the French league to the Premier League.
